Where do I start on just a tremendous and passionate woman? You have to know somebody's heart before you can vote for them. You've got to understand their vision, and all her visions match up with my vision; she wants to help the community, she wants to help kids, and she wants Oklahoma to have a greater life after she's done. And you talk about people that are "untouchable," but you can call her up, you can email her, she'll answer. She's not too big, she's not bigger than life. She is our future governor, I'll go ahead an speak that, she is going to be our future governor. With your help, of course, but I don't see Oklahoma going any better direction than stopping right here with Jari and making sure that she'll be our governor.

I'm supporting Jari Askins because I believe you can have economic prosperity without prejudicing the rights of the citizens and workers of Oklahoma, and she's the right woman to help us do that.
Im a freshmen in college and have met Ms. Askins several times at the capitol and other events. She has always been respectful and gracious. I would love to see Oklahoma with a strong female leader.
The majority of my family works in education and that is also my intended major. Ms. Askins is the only choice for governor if education is important to you.

Firefighters endorse Jari Askins for Governor
Tulsa, OK, August 12, 2010: It is with surpassing pride that we announce that the Tulsa Firefighters have chosen to endorse Lieutenant Governor Jari Askins for the office of Governor of the State of Oklahoma.
With decades of public service to her credit, the current Lt. Governor is extremely deserving of our collective faith once again. Jari Askins is far and away the most qualified candidate to continue the fight on behalf of working-class Oklahomans. Time and again, she has stood side-by-side with firefighters from all over the state to demand safer conditions for our first responders and a better working wage for all.
In the wake of 9/11, then Representative Askins supported the creation of the Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security. This vital agency has worked to provide much needed training and resources to communities all over the state as they prepare for any disaster, from tornados to terrorism, that we as Oklahomans may face.
As Lt. Governor, examples of Jari Askins’ devotion to the safety and protection of all citizens as well as firefighters are almost too numerous to count. Year after year, she has labored to increase the technical and tactical proficiencies of emergency responders statewide.
In this election, it will be important that we as Oklahomans choose a governor to look out for Oklahomans. Someone who shares our values, cares about the safety of our citizens, and seeks to protect us as we protect others.

In the governor’s race we will vote for Jari Askins. Jari has strong roots in rural Oklahoma. Her town of Duncan went up and down with the oil boom and busts just like our community has done.
Her strong education led her to successful careers as a judge and later as a lawmaker in Oklahoma City. Currently sitting in the Lt. Governor’s position Jari has experience in all three branches of our state government. She may very well be the most qualified candidate for the Governor of Oklahoma in our generation.
We support Jari Askins because we believe in our heart she will be the best choice for our state.
